Quajay Donnell is a freelance photographer and writer living in Rochester with his wife, son and daughter. He is a four-time contributor to In This Moment with words and images in both volumes. His work has been published in Departures Magazine, The Washington Post, CITY, The Democrat and Chronicle, (585) Magazine, Explore, The Waterbury Observer and seen on WXXI. His recent photo essay work has been part of exhibitions at the Memorial Art Gallery, Rochester Contemporary Art Center, RIT City Arts Space, The Yards, Frank’s Chop Shop, St. John Fisher University, and Joy Gallery.
Essayist: Luticha Doucette
Luticha André Doucette is the author of the groundbreaking book: Cultivating An Intersectional Mindset. She graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Bioinformatics where she developed protein surface prediction algorithms. After graduating, she was a Fellow at the University of Rochester where she worked in a genomics lab. In 2017 she authored a report on wage disparities across race, gender, and disability in Rochester and Monroe County in conjunction with the Rochester-Monroe Anti-Poverty Initiative and in 2018 authored a follow-up report on employment barriers for disabled people in Rochester and Monroe County.
