Allison McDonald is a portrait photographer whose work takes a deeper look into the beauty and essence of people, alongside the surroundings of the environment she’s in. She uses portraiture to explore the lives of the individuals she captures.
Essayist: Christopher Coles
Christopher Coles, (He, Him, His) is a multi-hyphenated American Thinker, Sign Language interpreter, Artist, Community organizer, Abolitionist, Activist and Spoken word Poet.
A Native son of Rochester, Christopher followed the footsteps of his grandmother, the Late Reverend Carrie Greggs as a black leader and voice of the Rochester community. Under the name BakariPoet, Christopher, as spoken word poet, created pieces like “Come alive” and “I love Black people”, as a battle cry for social and racial justice and community empowerment.
